Ongoing research projects:

VCPTu2PDA

(BMWi - FKZ 03EE3025B)
Duration: 01.06.2020 - 31.05.2023
The aim of VCPTu2PDA is to is to advance the prediction of vibrated piles based on Vibro-CPTu data.

Finalised research projects:

Offshore-XL-Monopile

(BAB - EFRE funded - FKZ VEO111C)
Duration: 06.04.2017 - 30.06.2018
We developed an advanced monitoring concept for detecting soil changes during and after installation of XL monopiles and to record the immediate influence and long term aging effect.

Vibro CPTu

(BMWi - FKZ 0325906A)
Duration: 01.01.2015 - 31.07.2019
The project Vibro-CPTu stands for the development of an exploration method for the prediction of the lateral and axial carrying capacity of XL monopiles vibrated into the ground for the offshore wind industry.

Restrike-XL

(BMWi - FKZ 0324231A)
Duration: 01.01.2018 - 31.12.2021
The aim of Restrike-XL is to investigate the phenomenon of long term increase of pile capacity for both hammer and vibratory driven offshore XL monopiles based on pile loading tests from the industrial projects VIBRO-PROJEKT and VIBRO RESTRIKE. The causes and effects of this increase in pile capacity are the main focus.
